Here’s a quick look at the All Natural ingredients used in Tick Killz:

Active Ingredients

• Cedar Oil, also known as Cedarwood Oil, is an essential oil derived from the various types of conifers, most in the pine or cypress botanical families. It’s produced from the foliage and sometimes the wood, roots and stumps which have been left after cutting trees for timber extraction.
• Peppermint is a hybrid mint, a cross between watermint and spearmint. Indigenous to Europe and the Middle East, the plant is now widely spread and cultivated in many regions of the world.
• 2-Phenthyl Propionate is the ester of phenethyl alcohol and propionic acid. It can be found naturally in a number of food sources.

Inert Ingredient

• Ethyl Lactate is found naturally in a wide variety of foods including wine, chicken and various fruits.

Natural Repellents, LLC asserts that Tick Killz complies with EPA regulations for 25(b) exempt pesticide ingredients. The EPA has determined that certain ‘minimum risk pesticides’ pose little to no risk to human health or the environment, therefore, they are classified as 25(b) exempt and they are not required to be registered under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act. As a 25(b) exempt product, Tick Killz delivers an excellent safety profile when compared against potentially harmful chemicals used to control ticks and mosquitoes.
